Week 1: Jello Legs

So I am getting on the blogger bandwagon, since I am starting a new chapter in my life. I figured that a great way to keep me accountable is to share my progress. I have decided to finally get in shape and really enjoy what life has to offer me. So I started this new workout and diet (both of which I really like, and right now its a perfect fit. as of week 1) I will try and update this 2x a week.

I am a little over halfway into my first week, and so far so good, no fast food runs, no subway (favorite place to eat), and I got all the "bad" food out of the house. Went shopping and got all the "good" food. I think the hardest part of this new plan is the fact that I can only drink water, no more pop, no more orange juice, no more chocolate milk. But I think this new plan is the perfect balance between eating right and working out. I know in the past for me, I would see great results on the mainstream diet plans for the first month or two. then as soon as i start really exercising I would stay the same for months at a time. I would eat what they said on there plans exactly and see no results. Already in just this first week, I have felt different, my body is starting to respond to the new foods and the work outs even thou they are hard, I feel good when i get done with them. Like yesterday I worked out with my trainer and he worked me hard, and when i got done for the day my legs felt like jello, and today they are stiff as can be, just barely moving them hurts. But I still got up and went for a walk, it was painful, but rewarding. and tomorrow I get to go workout with my trainer again. But for once I am actually excited to go and workout, before it was a chore now its something I look forward to, I think its the actual fact that my "good" food is based around my workouts. and they work well with each other.

Weigh in is at the end of the week. I am going to keep track with how much weight I lose, not were I am at currently, just because I am not sure where I will end up. I have a goal of what I would like to lose by key times in the year. I will keep you all posted (who ever ends up reading this)
